Our condo was flooded after the upstairs neighbor refused emergency repairs that we arranged through multiple licensed plumbers due to personal preferences, and the HOA failed to respond in a timely manner, allowing the damage to escalate. The destruction forced my sister and me to spend $20,500 in savings and rely on credit cards just to stay afloat.
